1. About Us
These Terms & Conditions apply to all services offered by FJ Heavenly Travel Pty Ltd, ABN 72 679 734 313, trading as FJ Heavenly Travel, through our website, social media pages, email communications, booking forms, payment links, brochures, advertisements, events, faith conferences, retreats, bus tours, travel packages and related services.
FJ Heavenly Travel Pty Ltd may operate as:
an event organiser;
a faith conference or retreat organiser;
a travel package coordinator;
a tour organiser;
a booking agent;
a third-party reseller;
a facilitator for accommodation, transport, activities, tours, venues, attractions, experiences, food services and other suppliers.
Where a service is supplied by a third-party supplier, the third-party supplier is responsible for providing that service, and the supplier’s own terms, conditions, cancellation rules, safety rules and liability limitations may apply.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website, submitting an enquiry, completing a booking form, making payment, attending an event, joining a tour or using our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and all related policies published by FJ Heavenly Travel Pty Ltd.
If you book on behalf of other travellers, participants, family members, group members or delegates, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms & Conditions on their behalf and that you will provide them with all relevant booking information, terms and policies.
3. Our Services
Our services may include, but are not limited to:
faith conferences;
Christian retreats;
group tours;
bus tours;
local and interstate travel experiences;
travel packages;
event-linked travel arrangements;
accommodation booking support;
activity and experience bookings;
sightseeing tours;
group transport coordination;
venue coordination;
meal and catering coordination;
itinerary planning;
visa support document coordination where applicable;
third-party supplier booking assistance.
Unless expressly stated in writing, flights, visas, passports, travel insurance, personal expenses, medical expenses, optional activities, excess baggage, special meals, airport transfers and government charges are not included.
4. Your Responsibility to Read Booking Information
You must carefully read all booking information before making payment, including:
package inclusions;
exclusions;
dates;
prices;
deposit terms;
payment deadlines;
cancellation terms;
refund terms;
minimum group numbers;
accommodation type;
room sharing arrangements;
transport details;
supplier terms;
visa and immigration requirements;
travel insurance advice;
health, mobility and special assistance requirements.
It is your responsibility to ask questions before making payment if anything is unclear.
5. Prices
All prices are quoted in Australian dollars unless otherwise stated.
Prices may be subject to change due to supplier pricing, currency exchange, tax changes, fuel costs, government charges, minimum group size requirements, venue charges, transport costs, accommodation availability, seasonal pricing, or operational changes.
Once your booking is confirmed and paid according to the booking terms, we will honour the confirmed price unless a change is required because of circumstances outside our reasonable control, supplier-imposed changes, government charges, tax changes, or a material change requested by you.
6. Deposits and Payments
A booking is not confirmed until:
we receive your completed booking form or written booking request;
we receive the required deposit or full payment;
we issue a written booking confirmation;
any relevant supplier confirmation is received where the service depends on third-party availability.
Deposits may be non-refundable where stated, especially where we have already committed funds to venues, transport providers, hotels, accommodation providers, speakers, suppliers, ticketing, administration, event planning, group reservations or third-party services.
7. Third-Party Suppliers
Some services are supplied by third-party providers, including but not limited to:
bus and coach operators;
hotels and accommodation providers;
venue operators;
restaurants and caterers;
activity providers;
attraction operators;
travel platforms;
event venues;
speakers and ministry guests;
tour guides;
insurance providers;
payment processors;
airlines, if applicable;
cruise operators, if applicable.
FJ Heavenly Travel Pty Ltd is not responsible for the acts, omissions, delays, cancellations, safety failures, service failures, insolvency, schedule changes or policy changes of third-party suppliers except to the extent required by Australian law.
8. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer rights, guarantees, remedies or protections that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law.
Where a remedy is required by law, we will provide the remedy required according to the circumstances, including where applicable a refund, replacement service, credit, rebooking, repair, compensation or other remedy as required by law.
9. Changes to Itineraries, Events or Tours
We may make reasonable changes to itineraries, schedules, venues, speakers, transport arrangements, accommodation, activities or event programs where necessary due to:
supplier changes;
weather;
safety concerns;
operational requirements;
road closures;
government restrictions;
minimum participant numbers;
illness or emergency;
venue changes;
transport delays;
force majeure events;
circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Where a material change is required, we will use reasonable efforts to notify affected customers as soon as practicable.
10. Minimum Numbers
Some conferences, retreats, bus tours, packages or group experiences may require minimum participant numbers.
If minimum numbers are not met, we may:
cancel the event or tour and provide an applicable refund or credit;
reschedule the event or tour;
offer an alternative package;
revise the price with your consent;
provide a modified itinerary.
Minimum number conditions will be stated where applicable.
11. Customer Conduct
You must behave respectfully and safely at all times during our conferences, retreats, tours, bus trips, accommodation stays and group activities.
We may refuse participation or remove a participant from an event, tour or activity if the participant:
behaves aggressively, abusively, dangerously or unlawfully;
harasses staff, suppliers, speakers, guests, attendees or other travellers;
damages property;
ignores safety instructions;
is intoxicated or under the influence of prohibited substances;
creates a risk to themselves or others;
breaches venue, accommodation, transport or supplier rules;
disrupts a faith conference, retreat, tour or group experience.
No refund is payable where removal is caused by misconduct, except where required by law.
12. Health, Fitness and Mobility
You are responsible for ensuring that you are medically, physically and practically able to participate in the event, conference, retreat, tour or travel package you book.
You must inform us before booking if you have:
mobility restrictions;
medical conditions relevant to participation;
dietary requirements;
allergies;
pregnancy-related requirements;
disability access needs;
special assistance needs;
medication storage requirements;
behavioural or support requirements;
any condition that may affect your safety or participation.
We will make reasonable efforts to assist where possible, but not all venues, buses, accommodation, locations or activities may be suitable for all participants.
13. Passports, Visas and Immigration
Unless expressly agreed in writing, you are responsible for obtaining and maintaining valid passports, visas, entry permits, travel authorisations, identity documents, health documents and any other government-required approvals.
Where we provide visa support documents or guidance, this does not guarantee visa approval. Visa decisions are made solely by the relevant government authority.
FJ Heavenly Travel Pty Ltd is not responsible for refused visas, delayed visas, immigration decisions, border refusal, incomplete applications, incorrect documents, late applications or customer failure to meet entry requirements.
14. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is strongly recommended for all travel, tours, retreats, accommodation bookings, conferences and travel-related packages.
Travel insurance may cover risks such as cancellation, illness, injury, medical expenses, lost baggage, delays, supplier failure and emergency expenses, subject to the insurer’s policy terms.
Unless expressly stated in writing, travel insurance is not included in our prices.
15. Photos, Videos and Media
At events, conferences, retreats, bus tours and experiences, photos and videos may be taken for promotional, educational, reporting or social media purposes.
By attending, you consent to general event photography and videography unless you notify us in writing before the event that you do not wish to be photographed or recorded.
Separate consent will be requested where reasonably required for close-up interviews, testimonials, children, private matters or sensitive content.
16. Intellectual Property
All website content, logos, branding, brochures, itineraries, documents, event materials, images, videos, designs, text, training materials and promotional content created by or for FJ Heavenly Travel Pty Ltd remain our intellectual property unless otherwise stated.
You must not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, sell or misuse our content without written permission.
17. Website Use
You must not misuse our website, submit false information, interfere with website operations, attempt unauthorised access, upload harmful code, impersonate another person or use our website for unlawful activity.
We may update, suspend or remove website content at any time.
18. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, FJ Heavenly Travel Pty Ltd is not liable for indirect loss, consequential loss, loss of enjoyment, loss of opportunity, emotional distress, loss caused by third-party suppliers, weather, government action, customer misconduct, customer failure to comply with requirements, or events outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in this clause limits rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
19. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for failure or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather, pandemics, government restrictions, border closures, transport disruption, supplier failure, strikes, civil unrest, war, terrorism, venue closure, public health orders, road closures or emergency events.
In such circumstances, we will act reasonably and in accordance with applicable law and supplier terms.
20. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Australia and, where relevant, the state or territory in which the service is supplied.
Customers agree to first attempt to resolve disputes through our complaints process before commencing formal legal action, except where urgent legal relief is required.
